Stages
I liked the ideas they inputted for GvG, but since my guildies are never on, I've never been in a GvG match before. Perhaps players who want to try out GvG or are guildless should be given a chance.
What I'm thinking of are creating Stages, an RA form of GvG, where players can enter a special arena named Stages. Once inside, players click "Enter Stage" to enter the battle. They form a party of 8 and then play GvG. This way new people can learn what GvG is and also get accustomed to the different maps and environment.
Edit: You gain only Balthazar Faction when you win or score kills.
It does not have to be an RA version though. Alternatives may include picking your own team. And so forth.

an RA GvG style game might be interesting.
But they sort of have that in Fort Aspenwood/Jade Quarry.
Still, not a bad idea...

You can freely stroll around different GH maps just by pretending to be a potential buyer of some Canthan real estate
Also, a PUG version of GvG already exists - it's called Heroes' Ascent. It's not a bad alternative if you want to get a crash course in 8vs8 face smashing. GvG is much more structured than any other form of PvP and one of the absolute prerequisites is adequate voice communication. Unlike other PvP arenas where all the action happens inside a small sandbox, GvG maps are wide open and there's usually 2-3 different fights going on outside radar range of each other. If teams are picked at random there isn't any coordination of tasks and without proper coordination chaos ensues. If players are allowed to pick their own teams, any organized guild team with TS or vent will be able to rout a PUG without voice comm. And if a PUG is willing to go so far as to discuss strategy and obtain voice comm then why not make a guild and play regular GvG as intended?

I like the idea, but what about the team structure? One team might have 0 monks while the other has 8. Also like in RA, this is cause people to sync in, making it unfair. Those who do not sync with the other will just leave thier team to try again, and so will leave the team with 7 people

random GvG would be the most hilarious thing ever, because I can imagine people going in and leeching just to screw others over :P

As long as RGvG an RHA would be separate from the team-formed version, I would support this.

Aslong as they have 0 effect on the ladder (Not that it'd matter much now :P) I'd love to see this
Would probably be the funniest thing since AB asfar as PvP goes (Imagine the leechers =D)

Actually, I've never HAed before either. Why? Because I'm not high enough rank, there's too low people, and I'd rather spend my time in Arenas where I have a better chance to get in. I'm sure there are people like me who want to try out GvG or are currently guildless. People should be able to do the fun features of GvG without having being in a guild.
As for TS or Vent, this really isn't organized PvP. People sometimes Vent/TS on TA. But for obvious reasons they don't in RA.

In my opinion, this kinda defeats the point of GvG, which is to play in coordinated team builds.
If you want to learn how to GvG, that is what observer mode is for. If you watch like... 10 deccent GvGs and pay attention, you will learn a lot of the basics about positioning, splits, and the flag.
If you want to play GvG, join a better guild or guest invite into an experienced guild. Or play some 4v4 scrimages with one other guy with heroes. Or do what I did. Have one or two PvP oriented guilds in your alliance that you can tag along with some time.
